 It wouldn’t be a comedy if this oddball couple didn’t get paired up, thanks to a dating site.  Coincidentally, Tamra just broke up with Morgan this same week. Mindy’s solution to dealing with Annette is to set her up on a date.
 Danny will always be his Ma’s favorite boy and she’ll always treat him as such.  People don’t change their personalities completely.  Like I said, it’s progress that she knocks at least but she does still let herself into his apartment.  I have to wonder though if Annette’s obtrusive behavior will continue.  By the end of the episode, she’s learned to at least knock on the bathroom door rather than go right in when Danny is bathing with Mindy. As much as a Thanksgiving episode would’ve been both appropriate and undoubtedly hilarious if Annette Castellano hosted, The Mindy Project finally addressed the overbearing mother-son relationship between Danny and his Ma.Īnnette has a key to Danny’s apartment but it’s her inopportune timing that makes her barging in even more irritating to Mindy.
